During Final Fantasy XIV Fan Fest, the CEO of Xbox, Phil Spencerappeared to announce the news alongside the game's director, Naoki Yoshida.

"We want to unite the Xbox community and its warriors of light in a way that is safe, engaging and, above all, fun." Spencer said.

Since the game's launch in 2013, the MMORPG has only been available for PC e PlayStation. According to Yoshidaone of the biggest requests from fans was to bring the game to the platform Xbox.

As a result, Final Fantasy XIV will arrive on the Series S/X and will feature faster charging times and 4K resolution for the Series X. Fortunately, fans of the Xbox won't have to wait for the game's latest expansion to play.

According to Yoshida, the version of Xbox will be released in the American spring of 2024 with an open beta taking place at some point after the release of patch 6.5.

The progress of the open beta of Final Fantasy XIV will be transferred, then Yoshida encouraged the Xbox to sign up for the beta.
