After Jim Ryan having retired from his position as CEO of PlayStation on April 1st, the Sony has announced the new CEO of PlayStationor rather, the new CEOs.
The youtube channel PlayStation was surprised to announce that there will now be two CEOs, along the lines of Sony. In other words, now the co-founder of Guerrillathe studio behind the franchise Horizonwill take over as CEO of PlayStation Studios.
The current senior vice president of strategy and global product management at PlayStation, Hideaki Nishinowill take over as CEO of the Platform Businesse Group at PlayStationbeing responsible for hardware, technology, PSN and relationships with third-party studios such as Square Enix with the franchise Final Fantasy.
