Featuring more than 130 events grouped into three categories, the non-linear progression of the Showdown TourCareer Mode, in Monster Jam Showdown allows players to enjoy a variety of competitions that will test their speed and skill.

Designed to accommodate different playing styles and promote each player's strengths, each victory will unlock new events in the same category. This way, players will constantly find new challenges that fit the way they want to play.

Although they fall into the same category, each challenge will include several game modes and will allow players to explore all three of the game's original environments.

The Showdown Tour are wild and unusual, the perfect place to take the trucks Monster Jam to the limit and unleash all their power beyond what they are capable of during live events.

Following a free progression approach, it will be possible to race in the wild landscapes of Alaska, Colorado and Death Valley from the very first minutes of the game, with new events gradually appearing on the map as players progress. For example, completing a Freestyle competition in Colorado can unlock a new Freestyle competition in a different region, or a new game mode such as a Best Trick match.

By achieving victories within the same event category, players will collect tokens that can be used to access Showdown Events: special boss battles that give access to career advancements. Here, players can prove their worth behind the wheel of iconic Monster Jam trucks by competing against their previous drivers. If successful, the rival truck will be added to the player's private collection and new, even more difficult events will be unlocked.

Showdown Events are more than one-on-one races; being fast won't be enough to guarantee victory. Players will also have to please the crowd by performing crazy jumps and destroying as many objects as possible to make the race more spectacular.

This design will leave players free to decide whether they want to progress within the same category by completing the most difficult events or test themselves in another category. However, it will be necessary to master all the categories to complete the career and collect all 66 vehicles* and more than 140 paintings available in the game.

Monster Jam Showdown will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch e PC on August 29, 2024, with early access available from August 26, 2024.
