Crimson Desert gets 50-minute gameplay preview

South Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss today released a 50-minute gameplay video of Crimson Desert, its next open-world action-adventure game, offering fans a vast insight into the world of Pywel.

This new montage gives an insight into the breadth of the game, detailing locations, the intense combat mechanics and the captivating narrative, raising expectations of the upcoming title.

The video begins with Kliff, the game's protagonist and leader of the Greymanes, in the middle of a brutal battle against the Black Bears. The violent clash ends up separating Kliff from his colleagues Oongka, Yann and Naira.

In the city of Hernand, Kliff is guided to a mysterious realm known as the Abyss. There, our protagonist meets the enigmatic Alustim and the White Crow, who give him the powerful new ability to glide.

The intensity of the story escalates when Kliff enters an intense duel in Hernand and receives a request to investigate a certain incident. During his journey, he will cross the path of "Goldleaf Merchants" and the story culminates in a thrilling battle against "Split Horn", a fearsome enemy that executes devastating and fast wind-based attacks.
