In 2022 the studio Maverick Games was founded by former developers of the acclaimed open-world racing franchise, Forza Horizon. The studio includes the former creative director of Forza Horizon, Mike Brown.
Now, on Wednesday (29), the Amazon Games has announced a partnership with the studio, where they will publish their next game. According to the studio, the game will be an open-world AAA racing game based on a narrative, and will come to PC, PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series.
"In our ongoing global search for talented development teams that are building compelling titles that gamers will love, Maverick Games stood out as a studio that can deliver on all fronts," said Christoph Hartmann, vice president of Amazon Games.
The announcement of Maverick Games' first game in partnership with Amazon Games joins the company's other major titles such as New World, Lost Ark, Tomb Raider and the Lord of the Rings.
