In the broadcast of the opening of the Paris Olympic Games 2024 gamers were surprised by an iconic scene: Yes, Assassin's Creed is present in 2024 Olympics.
Bearing in mind that Assassin's Creed Unitylaunched in 2014 and starring Arno Dorian takes place in Parisfaithfully recreating the French capital's most iconic sites, such as the Notre-Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower and PantheonYou'd think it would be an honor for Parisians.
The scene you can see below shows a person dressed as an assassin, a bit reminiscent even of the costume of Arnoholding the Olympic torch and parkouring across the rooftops of the French capital.
When asked about Assassin's Creed with the Olympics, a spokesman for the Ubisoft said the following:
"We were impressed by the opening ceremony and very proud to see that Assassin's Creed was one of the inspirations for the talented creators of the show. This is a true testament to the influence of video games on popular culture." - Ubisoft spokesperson
