This Monday, Insider-gaming published an exclusive text on its news portal with numerous details about Assassin's Creed Infinity, a Ubisoft platform that will arrive later this year.

Assassin's Creed Infinity will be the central hub of the franchise, from which games like Red, Hexe e Invictus will be released. Demo images have been provided to Insider Gaming, but on the condition that the images do not become public.

The images show the user going from the Infinity to Assassin's Creed Red in just a few seconds, picking up where you left off, instead of having to boot the games individually after going back to the hub.

Assassin's Creed Infinity will have live-service mechanics

Infinity's main focus is a live service offering, which is all told through modern history. To begin with Assassin's Creed Infinity will be launched on the same day as Red. And, it will contain several features that you would expect from a live-service.

'The Exchange' will be the item store, offering players the chance to buy daily and weekly in-game cosmetics for the two protagonists of RedNaoe and Yasuke.

As well as The Exchange, Infinity also has a 'Synchronization' feature that allows the player to access 'Projects' for each protagonist. To explain them in their simplest form, Projects are mini "battle passes" with a narrative behind them. They will offer players the ability to earn cosmetic rewards.

Projects will be added throughout Infinity constantly, focusing mainly on DLCs and new game releases, or even as a means of maintaining player interest during the lack of any new content.

Ubisoft's current strategy for Assassin's Creed

It is understood that the current strategy of Ubisoft with Infinity is to release a main game every two years, with smaller experiences in between. Red is scheduled to arrive later this year, with Invictus - a multiplayer offering - being planned for 2025. E, Hexe for 2026.

Hexe is described as "the darkest Assassin's Creed game of all time". Hexe will have a main female protagonist (currently named Elsa) for the first time since Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China in 2015.

Other projects include Obsidian (Black Flag Remake), Nebula (scenarios based on India, the Aztec Empire and the Mediterranean), Raid (a free cooperative mode for 4 players that is PvE), Echoes (another multiplayer title) and another Assassin's Creed Remake.

Interestingly, all of which are scheduled to be released by the end of the decade. Finally, what do you think of this leak? The news behind Assassin's Creed Infinity interesting to you?
