The youtube channel Ubisoft has just announced that the next game in the series Assassin's Creed will be released worldwide on November 15th. Assassin's Creed Shadows will be available at Ubisoft+, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Macs with Apple Silicon (via Mac App Store*) e PC (via the Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store). Users of Ubisoft+ and buyers of the Ultimate Edition will have access to the game three days before the official release on November 12.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is led by the Ubisoft Québec (Assassin's Creed Odyssey) and transports players directly to feudal Japan. As the country moves towards brutal unification, a wave of unrest rises with the emergence of political coalitions and the arrival of corruptive foreign influences in the country.
On this journey, players will experience the intertwined paths of Naoe, a shinobi assassin from Iga province, and Yasuke, a powerful legendary samurai. In addition, they will discover secrets from the past, meet important historical figures and have to shape a common destiny for the protagonists as they usher in a new era in Japan.
As Naoe and Yasuke, you'll be able to master two complementary styles of play, as each character has their own progression paths, skills, weapon options and statistics.
Whether with Naoe's stealthy movement or Yasuke's powerful combat, players will have plenty of ways to achieve their goals. Naoe offers refined stealth mechanics with the use of lights, noises, shadows and changes of environment, avoiding enemy detection. Yasuke is sharp and strong, capable of taking on larger groups of opponents.
The game also features a vast open-world map with a wide variety of landscapes, which change according to the weather and the season. From castle towns and bustling ports to peaceful shrines and countryside, 16th century Japan comes alive and dynamic with the latest version of the Anvil engine and the power of new generation consoles.
In this troubled period in history, information is a fundamental asset and will be at the heart of the new exploitation mechanisms. Users will build their own network of spies to uncover new areas and hunt down their targets. At the same time, allies with high-level skills and special abilities can also be recruited to help with missions.
Creating a customizable hideout will allow you to improve your network of recruits and train your new team. From the basic construction of the space to the decorations and accessories, players will be able to create a unique place to call home.
Fans who purchase Assassin's Creed Shadows during the pre-order will receive an additional mission.
