Baldur's Gate 3 in third person? Check out this AMAZING mod!

Overview of the Astarion Baldur's Gate 3

Two new mods for Baldur's Gate 3 turned the game into a third-person RPG, just like the classics of the Biowareor even The Witcher 3: Wild Hund. Read the textO:

The mods available on Nexus Mods, "WASD Character Moviment" by the user Ch4nKyy and "Native Camera Tweaks" by the user Ershincan be combined to reimagine the turn-based game with top-down camera into a third-person adventure. Similar to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

The WASD movement mod allows the player to control their characters with the four keys. Letting them walk around and explore the world of Baldur's Gate 3 without constantly clicking the left button to move from one place to another.

The creator also noted that users can switch between character movement and camera movement with caps lock. While auto-run is mapped with Shift+W. The modder mentioned that they will be adding a sprint and walking toggle. As well as an automatic toggle mode in combat soon.

However, the WASD movement mod can only be used if you install Native Camera Tweaks first. This mod is an open source plugin that unlocks camera pitch, zoom, and the analog dead zone.

Normally, Baldur's Gate 3 has a top-down view during exploration. However, players can zoom in using their scroll wheel on the PC.

There is also a Tactical view, which is a slightly different camera angle that is activated during combat encounters. The camera mod also changes this to have a lower field of view, which "gives really cool classic vibes with adjusted tone".

Finally, Baldur's Gate 3 is available on PC. On September 6, it will arrive on PlayStation 5. And, at a date yet to be announced, it will also arrive on the Xbox Series.
