Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 gets first gameplay trailer

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has now been properly revealed after weeks of teasers. Task Force 141 returns, led once again by Captain Price.

This time, they're up against Makarov, a Russian ultranationalist bent on wreaking havoc on the world. The character made his debut in the original trilogy of Modern Warfare and is seen as one of the best villains in the franchise.

However, it's unclear how long they'll keep Makarov this time, as they're killing villains left and right in the new rebooted series of Modern Warfare.

In addition, it is not known whether this will be another trilogy or whether the series Modern Warfare will continue for years to come. After all, the other Call of Duty of Infinity Ward after Modern Warfare largely failed to reach the peaks of their trilogy. So that might be something Activision wants to keep.
