From 3 p.m. on February 6 (Brasília time), the Lunar Awakening event will be available in the Seasonal and Eternal Realms of Diablo IV. In this event, a mysterious phenomenon is manifesting itself on the altars of Sanctuary, enchanting them with an immense and prosperous power.
By activating these altars, the player will receive 50% of bonus XP and 30% of movement speed, earning reputation from the Favor of the Ancestors. The event will be active until February 20th.
Diablo IV Lunar Awakening details
Here are some details of the update:
- There is a new hub located in the northern area of Ked Bardu, where it will be possible to meet Ying-Yue, leader of the Lunar Night Market, to redeem the reputation of the Ancestors' Favor in exchange for extravagant rewards with a lunar renewal theme.
- Lunar Altars are scattered throughout Sanctuary and can be found in dungeons and the open world. By activating them and killing monsters, the player will be rewarded with the reputation of the Ancestor's Favor.
- Lunar Altars work like normal Altars, but provide extra effects. Enemies will also appear as soon as the Lunar Altar is activated.
- Nightmare Dungeon sigils have a chance of coming with the Favor of the Ancestors dungeon affix, ensuring that only Lunar Altars appear within it. Each player will also receive 10% of extra glyph XP after finishing the dungeon.
- You can earn 10 levels of Ancestral Favor reputation and unlock 6 different moon-themed rewards.
Diablo IV is now available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
