DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO promises to be the game in the saga where fans will be able to tear up the skies! Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. has unveiled two new videos revealing more characters that will be present in the game and skills that will trigger explosive confrontations.
In the new gameplay video, the producer of DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO, Jun Furutani, reveals the full gameplay of the user interface, highlighting fan-favorite mechanics such as Impact Actions, Dragon Dashes, Beam Clashes and more. The producer also mentions some new mechanics, including Short Dashes, explosive speed boosts that can be used to create openings in combat, and Revenge Counters, which absorb an opponent's attack and return it to them.
New and old mechanics, fast-paced combat, large, destructible environments and stunning visuals with next-generation platforming technology combine to make DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO the sequel to the famous DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI series that fans have been waiting for for over 15 years.

DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO also brings the series back to its Japanese roots, when DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI was originally named DRAGON BALL Z: Sparking! The gravity-defying battles capture each of the DRAGON BALL character's signature destructive powers and Ki abilities presented in stunning detail and capable of destroying entire sections of the arena.
