The release date of March 22, 2024 for Dragon's Dogma 2 was confirmed on Tuesday as part of a showcase dedicated to the game, which can be seen below.
Presented by the director Hideaki Itsuno and the producer Yoshiaki HirabayashiThe live broadcast featured lots of new gameplay footage of Dragon's Dogma 2including the revelation of new monsters such as Talos, a giant who emerges from the sea.
The youtube channel Capcom also provided an overview of the story and an introduction to some central characters and mission details.
"Dragon's Dogma is a tale of the Risen One, whose heart is taken over by the dragon," he said Hirabayashi. "Although this sequel mirrors the world setting of the first game, the adventure takes place in a parallel world."
Pre-orders of Dragon's Dogma 2 to PS5, Xbox Series X/S e PC start today, with the title available in Standard and Deluxe editions. The release date for Dragon's Dogma 2 is March 22, 2024.
