Although things have gone quiet in all things of Elden Ring while we wait for the huge DLC Shadow of the Erdtree, it seems that the FromSoftware is still looking to the future of the franchise.
Nobody was buying that Elden Ring would be one, but now, Hidetaka Miyazaki may have just confirmed Elden Ring 2.

The youtube channel Future Press has just released the second volume of Elden Ring Books of KnowledgeThis is a great way of expanding on the various monsters you'll find in the Lands Between. As well as statistics and insights from those who brought this world to life. One of the big selling points in an exclusive interview with the director of Elden Ring, Hidetaka Miyazaki.
According to those who picked up the book, Miyazaki suggests the future of Lands Between and says that Roundtable Hold is a particularly important point of interest. This link to Elden Ring 2 and possibly more entries, such as Miyazaki says its importance is being saved for "future games".
The interview is supposedly brief and has not been made publicly available online, however, if Miyazaki is already dropping hints about possible sequels and an expanded franchise, expect this to become a recurring question in interviews.
