Being billed by the players as the "PlayStation's Splatoon", Foamstars is the new exclusive of PlayStation 4 e PlayStation 5which arrived on Tuesday, February 6th.
Unfortunately, the game turned out to be what most people thought it would be: a huge FLOP. Not because of its theme, or because it's an online game, but because it wasn't competent enough at what it set out to do. In addition, of course, to having exorbitant microtransactions.
The game is currently performing with a score of 59 on the Metacritic by critics, and 6.5 by users. In OpenCriticthe game is at 65, making the Square Enix once again enter the tide of an excellent game, and a totally expendable game.

In 2023 we saw this happen with Forspoken and now Foamstars. In between these two games, we had the releases of Final Fantasy XVI and now, Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, which promises to be even better than the first game.
