In less than a month's time, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut will finally be coming to PCs, with several improvements and interesting new features. The following text was written by Julian Huijbregts, Online Community Specialist at Nixxes Software and taken from the PlayStation Blog.
“Hi everyone, Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is coming to PC on May 16! Today we'll give you all the details on cross-platform support in Legends mode and the inclusion of a new PlayStation overlay, as well as support for PlayStation trophies and more.
As we announced earlier, the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut contains the full game, the Iki Island expansion and the Legends cooperative online multiplayer mode. Thanks to cross-platform support, Legends players on Windows PCs will be able to join forces with other players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, as well as using voice chat to communicate within the game. To access Legends mode, you'll need to log in to your PlayStation Network account.
Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut is the first PlayStation title on PC to use the new PlayStation overlay, which includes your friends list, trophies, settings and your profile. The feature is available for Windows PCs and can be accessed via the game menu or, for those playing on the keyboard, by pressing the shortcut "SHIFT +F1".“
“During the game, it is possible to receive PlayStation trophies in the same way as on consoles. Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut for PC has the same set of trophies as the game on PlayStation 5 consoles*. In addition, the PC version includes full support for Achievements on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
To use features such as trophies, friends list and multiplatform, you can sign in with your PlayStation Network account or create a new one. Use of the PlayStation overlay is optional, both in single-player and Legends mode. “
Users who connect their PlayStation Network accounts and unlock trophies in the PC version of Ghost of Tsushima Director's Cut using the same PS5 account will have the same trophies unlocked in the PC version.
