The youtube channel Warner Bros. Games released on Thursday (29) a new gameplay trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, offering fans a detailed look at the game's PvP (player versus player) mode, customization, skill tree, career mode and more.
In PvP, each player controls one of the team's Scorers, as well as choosing a role between Scorer, Pitcher, Goalkeeper or Catcher. Players can adapt their style of play by earning skill points to improve their stats, learn special moves and upgrade their brooms to increase maximum speed, agility and much more. All of the game's content can only be obtained by progressing through the game and cannot be purchased with real currency.
In Career Mode, players begin their Quidditch careers at the Weasley Den in the Garden Cup, then face the challenge of the Quidditch House Cup, where they will choose their Hogwarts house and face well-known characters such as Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy.
From there, the players will represent one of the three great schools of magic: Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Durmstrang Institute or Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in the renowned Quidditch Tournament. Finally, players will face the ultimate challenge of wizarding sport on the global stage by competing in the Quidditch World Cup.
Featuring iconic locations from the wizarding world, characters and references that fans will love, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions highlights the thrill of flying through legendary arenas as Batter, Scorer, Goalkeeper or Catcher, in a variety of modes including solo, competitive multiplayer and online co-op.
From backyard battles at the Weasleys' Den to clashes at the Quidditch World Cup, players will fly through legendary arenas playing as - or against - iconic characters: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, Cho Chang and many more! As a special treat, players who own Hogwarts Legacy will receive the Bonus Legacy Pack* when they download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and connect their WB accounts.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on September 3, 2024, in Digital Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions. The Nintendo Switch Edition will be released at a later date.
In addition, the Digital Standard Edition of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions** will be available at no extra cost to PlayStation Plus members from September 3 to September 30, 2024. The Ultimate Firebolt Broom Skin will also be available as a redeemable Pack during this period for PlayStation Plus members. Players who download the title during this window will continue to have access to the game for as long as they remain PlayStation Plus members.
