Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged gets new gameplay details

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2

Leaving your opponents in the dust means you'll need more than a fast car in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged. Two new vehicle maneuvers bring an extra layer of action to each race.

With the power of thrust, players will be able to jump once or twice at any time. With a boosted jump, pilots can fly over their enemies, avoid obstacles and navigate tight spaces. Drivers who flex their creative muscles can even use this trick to find new shortcuts or reach new sections of the track.

Along with the heels, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged introduces the Lateral Dash, which gives players the chance to use force instead of speed. With this maneuver, players can collide with the karts on either side to force opponents off the track or throw them into the barriers.

Side Dash and jump open up vast new options for riders in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: TurbochargedWhen combined with the game's boost and drift mechanics, it gives players a new way to race.

The new game mechanics in Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged

Drivers can take these new maneuvers and their extreme racing skills to the five new environments of Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged.

These diverse areas will bring riders out onto the track and into the dirt.

With seamless transitions between each setting, riders will have to adjust to the new environment, fully testing their skills. For the more creative, Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged also offers a creation room where fully customized race tracks can be made from scratch.

But for any race, players will need a new set of cast wheels and Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 - Turbocharged brings an expanded line-up, featuring an impressive collection of 130 iconic vehicles from the universe Hot Wheels™. This includes the introduction of two new classes: ATVs and motorcycles. Each vehicle class has its own unique style and feel, each playing out differently.
