ID@Xbox - Check out all the announcements from the event

This Monday (29/04) the Microsoft carried out the ID@Xbox, an event focused on independent and/or smaller budget games. We saw names like Palworld, Vampire Survivors, Tails of Iron 2 and more.

Astor: Blade of the Monolith - May 30th

Originally announced as Monolith: Requiem of the Ancients before the rebranding, Astor: Blade of the Monolith is a hack-and-slash ARPG.

Players control the titular character, Astor, as he ventures out to unravel the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the Ancients.

33 Immortals gets closed beta in May

If you're looking for a cooperative roguelike game with 32 of your friends, 33 Immortals is the game for you.

The top-down action game has beautiful hand-drawn visuals reminiscent of Spiritfarer combined with constant on-screen action of something like Vampire Survivors. The closed beta of 33 Immortals is scheduled for May 24th.

Palworld to receive an update this winter

Palworld, the indie darling that has become a smash hit for the Xbox in early 2024, is receiving a major update this summer that includes the introduction of four new Pals.

More interestingly, the trailer showed a flamethrower weapon being wielded by a player; previously, players who wanted to use a flamethrower in Palworld needed a Foxsparks to replicate a flamethrower.

Commandos: Origins will receive closed beta this winter

The youtube channel Claymore Game Studios provided a fresh look at the next entry in the franchise Commandossubtitled Origins.

Set in the Second World War, players control Jack O'Hara or one of his five companions in a series of missions set in "historically authentic World War II environments".

A closed beta is scheduled to take place sometime this summer.

Centum arrives this winter

If you like 8-bit visuals and point-and-click adventure games, it's worth adding the Centum to your wish list.

The gameplay in the reveal trailer reveals that the game will switch between medieval and modern settings. Centum launches this winter.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage - 2024

Announced in The Game Awards 2023, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is the next project of Don't Nod, creator of Life is Strange.

Unlike previous Don't Nodwhich were set in a more modern period, Lost Records is set in 1995. The latest trailer oozes 90s nostalgia, with kids skateboarding and images of the trailer being "recorded" from a 90s camcorder.

Keylocker arrives this winter

A turn-based cyberpunk action game, Keylockerwill be released on PC and Xbox sometime this winter.

Set in a world where music is forbidden, players control a singer.

Stampede: Racing Royale

Although Mario Kart is still the franchise that dominates the kart racing subgenre, it is still limited to the hardware of the Nintendo. Stampede: Racing Royale can give the Xbox something to fill the void of Mario Kart.

A racing game that fuses kart racing and battle royale, Stampede: Racing Royale has 60 players burning rubber on the course. The gameplay and power-ups are similar to those of a Mario Kart game, combined with the silliness found in the platform battle royale game by MediaTonic, Fall Guys.

Jackbox: Naughty Pack

Adult players of Jackbox who want a Party Package with an adult theme can stop praying, since the Jackbox Games announced today that he is finally making one. Jackbox Naughty Pack is coming sometime this year.

Times & Galaxy arrives in June

The next point-and-click game from Copychaser Games, Times & Galaxywill be available for PC e Xbox sometime in June.

Players control a robot, the first robot reporter for the prestigious newspaper Times and Galaxy. The reporter is asked to find stories all over the galaxy as an intern, in the hope of getting a scoop.

Sulfur is revealed

A contemporary first-person shooter with roguelike elements and an old-school design. One of the user-defined tags on the game's page on Steam describes him as a "boomer shooter".

Looking at the previous trailer and what appeared in the ID@XboxThe gameplay may remind people of the older games of Doom e Wolfenstein.

Beast: The Sundered Tribes arrives in 2024

The youtube channel Massive Damage Studios shared a new trailer for Beast: The Sundered Tribes, an action RPG that fuses monster hunting with tribe management and building mechanics.

All You Need Is Help arrives in spring

The trailer indicates that this puzzle game is a multiplayer game in which players have time and need to place their puzzle pieces in the correct position.

Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Winter gets a new trailer

The next souls-like action RPG from Odd Bug Studio, Tails of Iron 2: Whiskers of Wintergot a new trailer on ID@Xboxand shows off more of his 2D art style in the comics.

Players will control Arlo, who is on a mission to defeat giant beasts and bandits that are scattered around the world.

Hangry gets gameplay trailer

Hangry, the "snack n' slash" RPG in which players hunt and eat monsters, appeared briefly on the ID@Xboxwhere players were given a brief new insight into the gameplay.

Promise Mascot Agency is the new game from the creators of Paradise Killer

The youtube channel Kaizen Game Worksthe developer behind Paradise Killeris back with a second title called Promise Mascot Agency.

As the name suggests, players manage a pet agency and the gameplay includes card-based battles.

Five games from Gamera Games on Xbox Game Pass

The indie games publisher Gamera Games appeared on ID@Xbox today, revealing that five games - Depersonalization, Firework, Volcano Princess, Kelperth, and The Rewinder - are going to the Game Pass.

All these games were initially released on PC before today's announcement.

Dungeons of Hinterberg gets gameplay trailer

A fusion of the social sim and action RPG genres with cel-shaded graphics, Dungeons of Hinterberg is set in the Austrian Alps, where players control Luisa, a burnout law trainee who chooses to abandon corporate life for the rugged life of living in nature and conquering dungeons.

Vampire Survivors: Operation Guns arrives on May 9th

Vampire Survivors: Operation Gunsknown affectionately as the Contra DLC, arrives on all platforms at the beginning of next month.

We've had another look at the new DLC before it reaches players' hands. But the most interesting thing about the new trailer is that, at the end, viewers get "one more thing..." revealing that Brad Fang, a character who first appeared in Against: Hard Corpswill be presented in the DLC.
