The youtube channel Sega of America and Ryu Ga Gotoku (RGG) Studios have announced the newest title in the Like a Dragon™ series: Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, a modern-day pirate adventure that follows a feared legendary figure from the yakuza universe, Goro Majima.
The game will be released worldwide on February 28, 2025 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows and PC (Steam). Players can pre-order various editions of the game on all platforms from today.
Announced during the last RGG Summit live event, Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is an unprecedented adventure that follows Goro Majima across land and sea. A year after the events of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth™Majima arrives on a deserted island amid the remains of a shipwreck.
Having forgotten even his own name, Goro travels the ocean in search of clues to remember who he is alongside Noah, a boy who saved his life. It's not long before they find themselves in the middle of a conflict between bloodthirsty criminals, modern-day pirates and other outlaws searching for a legendary treasure.
Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii is the new title in a landmark year for the franchise, which saw the release of the latest game in the main series, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth™at the beginning of the year.
Fans can also look forward to the Amazon Original live-action series Like a Dragon: Yakuzawhich will be launched on Prime Video on October 24, 2024.
