Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is bringing players back to Nowhere in LITTLE NIGHTMARES™ IIIand this time they won't have to face their fears alone. Unveiled at Opening Night Live during gamescom 2024, the new trailer highlights the teamwork of Low and Alone, the game's two new characters, to escape the nightmares of the Spiral, the game's new setting.
For the first time in the franchise, players can choose one of the characters, each with unique abilities, or invite a friend to join and play in the online cooperative mode, in order to overcome the dark environments with challenging puzzles and grotesque creatures called "residents" that lurk in the shadows.
Developed by Supermassive Games, LITTLE NIGHTMARES III follows the journey of Low and Alone, who will have to work together to find a way out of the Spiral, a set of disturbing places in Nowhere.
Each character carries their own item - a bow and arrow for Low and a wrench for Alone - which they will need during their journey.
The online cooperative mode brings a new element to the experience, where players can now face their childhood fears together. LITTLE NIGHTMARES III can also be played in single player, in which players can choose Low or Alone, while the AI controls the second character.
LITTLE NIGHTMARES III will be released in 2025 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam®.
