The youtube channel Mad Mimic revealed on Tuesday (23) Mark of the Deepits ambitious new action-adventure game for PCs and consoles. Inspired by modern classics such as Hollow Knight, Death's Door and more.
Mark of the Deep is a game rich in narrative with exploration mechanics inspired by cult metroidvania games and electrifying combat. There's a lot of influence from the most iconic Souls-like hits.
Mark of the Deep tells the story of pirate Marcus "Rookie" Ramsey and his crew who have disappeared on a mystical cursed island. Standing in Rookie's way to save his crew will be various dangers, myths and legends and a hostile universe dominated by the nefarious figure who leads the cult of the Old Folks, masters of abyssal creatures and guardians of the fearsome holder of the secrets of eternal life: Leviathan.
