The crew prepares to sail into the depths of Mark of the Deep and Mad Mimic today unveiled a frenetic new free demo for Steam of their eagerly awaited game. Those who want to be part of Rookie's gang can now download the game and unravel the mysteries that caused the Angry Mermaid Crew to disappear.
Celebrating this new phase of the game, the studio also presented an exciting preview with detailed gameplay presented by content creator Max Palaro, who voices the character Ortega in this adventure. The video shows the early part of the game, with pirate Marcus "Rookie" Ramsey searching for his missing crew. As well as exploring the different environments and their secrets, we also get a detailed look at the combat and the different allies - as well as enemies - that Rookie will encounter along the way. Along with Max Palaro, the dubbing cast is made up of great Brazilian content creators such as Ana Xisdê, Bastet, Calango, Coelho no Japão, Daniels, Enaldinho, Gianzetta, Gustavo DociL, Guto Barbosa, Haru, Jinki, Kalera, Luh Setra, Mary Chii, Max Palaro, Mount, Patife, Rakin, Taneko, Tetéia, Thaiga, Thamás Morelli, Tiago Leifert and Triz Pariz.
Mark of the Deep is an epic pirate-themed adventure game with a strong narrative and an exciting mix of Metroidvania and Souls-Like elements. The game will be one of Mad Mimic's highlights during gamescom latam, an event taking place from June 26 to 30 at the São Paulo Expo. Visitors will have the opportunity to try out the game first-hand at the studio's stand, in the Panorama Brasil area and at the TecToy stand.

In the demo, players will be able to unlock some of the protagonist's skills and weapons to get a preview of the full experience that awaits them when the game is officially released later this year.
Mark of the Deep is a game rich in narrative with exploration and combat mechanics inspired by cult metroidvania games and iconic souls-like hits, and can already be added to your wish list at Steam.
