The long-awaited VR game set in the acclaimed Metro franchise, Metro Awakeningwill be released on November 7th.
The announcement was made today during Sony's State of Play Showcase, where a new trailer offered a closer look at the game's plot and immersive gameplay. Written by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Awakening delves into the origin story of one of Metro's most important characters.
Pre-orders are now available at PS VR2, Meta Quest, e Steam VR for the Standard and Deluxe Editions, each including exclusive in-game items, as detailed below. The pre-order is not available on Viveport, and the Deluxe Edition will be released on the platform on November 7.
The Deluxe Edition pre-order gives fans a 10% discount, 48-hour early access to the game on November 5 (only available on PS VR2 and Steam VR) and additional bonuses.
Developed and published by Vertigo Games in collaboration with Deep Silver, Metro Awakening is coming to PlayStation VR2, Meta Quest 2 and 3, Steam VR and Viveport.
