Microsoft announces "Wraps" for Xbox Series X

Xbox Series X Wraps

The youtube channel Microsoft is getting into the custom skin game following this Monday's announcement (21/08), which shares the launch of the "Wraps" for Xbox Series X.

See what Microsoft's senior design director had to say about the announcement below:

"We know that gamers want to be able to customize their consoles and show support for their favorite games, and we're delivering a more affordable and sustainable option than buying a special edition or limited edition console," said Monique Chatterjee, senior design director at Microsoft.

About Xbox Series X Wraps

Available for pre-order from today (August 21), there are three designs to choose from to get you started. The first two designs are camouflage wraps - Artic Camo and Mineral Camo - which cost US$ 44.99.

The third is a wrap with a theme Starfield that matches the aesthetics of the headset and controller Starfield that were launched. The Starfield costs five dollars more, at US$ 49.99.

"Made with solid core panels that are overlaid with high-tech fabric finishes, the enclosures are folded around the console and secured with a hook and loop enclosure," he said Chatterjee. "The inside of the wraps are printed with silicone designs that hold the wrap in place."

As far as the launch is concerned, the console Starfield will be launched in the USA, Canada and Europe on October 18th. The Artic and Mineral Camo designs will be available from November 10 in the USA and Canada. Only the Mineral Camo will be available in Europe on November 10th.

There is still no confirmation that the Wraps will arrive in Brazil.
