Fable has always been on these lists, since it was announced three years ago, and it looks like this time it will be!
In a new tweet on the official XboxThere is a video where we see a Xbox filled with glitter, the cameraman then decides to follow the glitter. He takes it to a computer with the image of Xbox Games Showcase.
Throughout this incredible journey, there is a background soundtrack reminiscent of children's fairytale movies. And which, as the players discover, is also reminiscent of the Fable.

Fable may be present at Xbox Games Showcase
The background music is very reminiscent of "Bowerstone South, background music at the first Fable from 2004. Of course, they're not exactly the same, but since it's a reboot of the franchise, it could have some great inspirations.
Glitter has also been used in games in the franchise to indicate where you should go to complete your quests. So it makes sense with the content present in the video.
There is no doubt that Fable may appear, since before its announcement in 2020, the game had been rumored to be in development for quite some time. However, recent rumors indicate that the Microsoft is abandoning the "in the next 12 months" format of the event.
This information comes from journalist and insider Jez Cordenand this may indicate that Fable should not arrive until June 2024, but could be until the end of 2024 or even 2025 or later.
But, as we know, the Playground Games has been doing an excellent job with its games, and there is no doubt that Fable will also receive the necessary treatment.
