For a few weeks, the Call of Duty got caught up in a back and forth regarding the status of Modern Warfare 3. For a long time it was believed that there would be no 'Call of Duty 2023', and when one of them appeared, it was thought to be little more than a DLC add-on for Modern Warfare 2 2022.
However, in a statement sent to CharlieIntel by Activision (and then shared on Twitter), it seems that the Activision is intended to clarify that Modern Warfare 3 is a complete, premium launch.
Modern Warfare 3 will have a conventional price
In the words of CharlieIntel: referring to what they were told directly by the Activision:
As stated in Activision Blizzard's numerous quarterly conference calls, Modern Warfare 3 is a premium release. The price will be US$ 70.
However, it has been made clear that this is not an expansion. In addition, there is no discounted upgrade price for users who encounter Modern Warfare 2.
Many of these concerns about 'DLCs' began to emerge after the news that players will be able to port everything they have unlocked and earned in Modern Warfare 2 to MW3. After all, this includes packages, weapon challenges, operators and progress. So the game will cost R$ 349.90 in Brazil. Apart from the more expensive editions, such as the Vault.
In a nutshell, Modern Warfare 3 will be fully revealed on August 17 through an in-game event on Call of Duty Warzone.
