Mortal Kombat 1 is scheduled to be officially launched on September 19, 2023 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch e PC.

Mortal Kombat 1 is coming to Nintendo Switch
Gamers were a little skeptical when they heard that Mortal Kombat 1 would be exclusive to the new generation, but it would still be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
In fact, it's something of a surprise. The previous game in the franchise (11) uses the Unreal Engine 3, and the Switch has had a big downgrade in order to be able to run the game - even though it was excellent.
Now that Unreal Engine 4 is being used in the new title in the franchise, it's hard to imagine how the game will run on the Nintendo Switch. The delay in new updates may prove that... or not.

In 2019, Mortal Kombat 11 was released for all consoles released to date. However, with the official release of the game being on April 23, users saw the Nintendo Switch version on April 17. In other words, just one week before its release.
It's a very wrong practice, in my opinion, and one that could even cost the game some pre-orders. However, it does calm the hearts of gamers who are waiting for Mortal Kombat 1.
