RisingWings, an independent studio of KRAFTON, Inc., has revealed the contents of the October update to Defense Derbyits real-time strategic defense mobile game, available for Android and iOS devices. The update brings the debut of the Witch class, a magic-type unit from the Humans faction.
Consumed by forbidden magic, the Witch has become an excellent sorceress. She carries the unique ability Necromancy, allowing her to summon two Apparitions to the lines of players who successfully defended their castles in the previous wave. These creatures serve as a vanguard, absorbing initial damage from the monsters and increasing the difficulty of the wave.
To celebrate the arrival of the Witch a special Derby Brawl is available, the Witch Mirror Match. In this mode, all players start with an identical Human faction deck that includes the Witch. This mode will be available until October 14, followed by the new Themed Mode which debuts on October 15.
With the start of the Sweet Whisper season, the game will renew the Season Pass, Check-in, Lucky Draw and Shop of Blessings. Players can secure the new Witch unit through these options. Regular logins offer some rewards such as Human Crystals, Gems, Witch Emotes and the Rare Witch card for those who log in for 7 days.
