Publisher Deep Silver and developer Starbreeze have opened their high-security vault and presented the first gameplay trailer for the next entry in gaming's most infamous heist franchise, PAYDAY 3, revealed exclusively during Xbox Showcase 2023. The four best-known clown-masked criminals in video game history return from retirement on September 21, 2023.
In this new game, Starbreeze takes players to the city of limitless possibilities - New York. The Payday gang, made up of Dallas, Hoxton, Wolf and Chains, returns from retirement and finds itself in the Big Apple after an unknown threat appears, shattering the illusion of living peacefully on the "right" side of the law. As they say, "Leopards can't change their spots", and thanks to years of experience and a mysterious new player in the criminal underworld, the gang quickly gets their hands on plans for lucrative new heists and leaves an explosive calling card with the city's security and police forces.
According to Starbreeze, players will discover new ways to pull off the perfect heist thanks to new skills, gadgets and weapons, while the storyline of the PAYDAY 3 will continually expand with new content and challenges.
Scheduled for release on September 21, 2023, PAYDAY 3 will be available on Game Pass for PC and Xbox, on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, and on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
