Publisher Devolver Digital and developer Team WIBY announce that Phantom Abyss has left Early Access and reached version 1.0.
Now available on Steam, Xbox Series S|X and Xbox Game Pass, this asynchronous multiplayer game challenges you to dive into ancient, labyrinthine tombs to find the treasures hidden within. But with deadly traps, bottomless pits, aggressive guardians and giant thorns to contend with, that's easier said than done.
But don't worry: you have help. Study the ghosts around you - echoes of the joyful triumphs and crushing failures of real players - and use this knowledge to your advantage. If you find the biggest treasure in a temple, no one will be able to play that level again.
Since its humble beginnings in Early Access, first appearing on Steam in 2021, Phantom Abyss has undergone a major transformation - culminating in the long-awaited, massively improved and expanded release of version 1.0 of the game.
