On Tuesday (10) it was officially revealed by PlayStation through its official YouTube channel PlayStation 5 Pro. The presentation lasted about 10 minutes, and highlighted some changes to the Pro version, announced the PSSRHe demonstrated some games running on the console and more technical terms.
The console has also received its official release date, set for November 7 at US$ 699. At this price, the vertical stand and disc player are not included and must be purchased separately. No games will come with the console, apart from Astro's Playroomthe 2020 game that comes pre-installed by default.
O PlayStation 5 Pro will have a larger and more powerful 45% GPU for rendering than the standard PS5. In addition, Ray Tracing will be 2 to 3x better than what we currently have on the PS5.
Perhaps the biggest new feature of the console is the PSSR, PlayStation Spectral Super Resolutionan AI solution that will replace the FSR of AMD. This solution upscales games without a drop in visuals or frame rate, allowing games that used to run in fidelity mode at 4K30FPS to now reach 4K60FPS.
