Rodrigo Santoro hired by IO Interactive for Project 007

Announced in mid-April 2024, Rodrigo Santoro was hired by IO Interactive to be the Director of Missions for Project 007.

According to Frederik Villumsen, the game's Associate Production Director, "It was clear that Rodrigo stood out from the crowd. When talking to any of his former colleagues, all we heard was praise. As soon as we showed Rodrigo Project 007, he showed his excitement about the game and was already sharing ideas, thoughts and asking lots of questions!"

Here's what Rodrigo Santoro has to say about his arrival on the project:

"I'm super excited to be part of IOI! I admire how the studio dares to innovate and create memorable new gaming experiences. This is particularly remarkable in times when most companies are focused on making sequels.

Project 007 caught my attention from the day it was announced, and I feel incredibly lucky to be working with the team making the game. I've been able to see more of the game and there's already something unique about it. Most importantly, every conversation I've had so far with the team members has shown that the team is passionate about delivering a memorable and unique experience.

Right now, I can't wait to start working with the team and, together, deliver the best 007 game ever made," says Santoro.

There is still no release date or window for Project 007However, one can imagine that the game might arrive a little before the movie, which doesn't even have an actor cast as the secret agent.
