Although Sony Santa Monica has not yet revealed any information, a reliable leaker has suggested that the DLC content of God of War Ragnarok will mark the next major release in the franchise.

The information is from The Snitch, a leaker who has reliably revealed information about several games in the past. According to The Snitch, the DLC of God of War Ragnarok is on its way.

Last year, the director Eric Williams was asked if the Sony had plans to develop DLC content for God of War Ragnarok. The director confirmed that nothing was planned, but that seems to have changed.
