Sea of Thieves may be coming to PlayStation and Nintendo Switch

It seems that Xbox will completely change course in 2023, according to the increasingly frequent rumors of exclusives also arriving on the PlayStation 5 e Switchand one of them is Sea of Thieves.

Among these games would be Hi-Fi Rush, released as a surprise at the beginning of last year and which quickly became a little gem, remaining exclusive to the console on Xbox e PC. But according to a well-known insider, it may not be the only port of games from the Xbox coming to other consoles in the near future.

According to Jeff Grubb, Hi-Fi Rush could be accompanied by Sea of Thieves, the pirate game that slowly became a cult classic after a turbulent start. Jeff Grubb mentioned Sea of Thieves in the latest episode of his podcast. You can find the speech at minute 10.40:

"I've heard that it could come to other platforms," says Grubb about Sea of Thieves, before elaborating:

"When I started hearing these rumors, I thought, 'Oh, it's probably Sea of Thieves, because I heard it might be coming to Switch and PlayStation'. And maybe this could be the kind of thing where, in reality, all these things are happening and Microsoft is trying to reorganize its strategy."

According to Jeff GrubbTherefore, the Xbox would be actively changing its strategy and trying to monetize even more of its most famous and well-known games, such as Sea of Thieves. Or at least those that have the potential to perform well when they reach other platforms.
