This Wednesday (March 20th) marks the 6-year anniversary of Sea of ThievesGaaS developed by Rare who won over the Xbox e PCand will soon be coming to PlayStation.
The youtube channel Rare shared with players some of the new features that seasons 12, 13 and 14 will receive in 2024. Check them out below:

That said, let's find out below what all the news is for the next seasons of Sea of Thievesarriving in 2024.
The twelfth season of the game will focus on gameplay
The twelfth season of Sea of Thieves will have a strong focus on gameplay, adding new weapons and traversal methods.
Double-barrelled pistol
The double-barrel gun will have two modes. In the first mode the gun will fire only one bullet, while in the second mode two bullets will be fired at the same time. It's certainly a short-range weapon.
Throwing knives
Without a shadow of a doubt, this is a weapon that will give a new dynamic to the gameplay of the game, since it will be used at long distances for a stealthy approach, as well as having a heavy charged attack.
If you hit an enemy and the knife gets stuck in them, you can retrieve it to use again.
Three new items will be available for you to use in Sea of ThievesThey are as follows:
- Scatter shot - The scatter shot is one of the first tools announced at the event. It is a type of ammunition that comes with several miniature cannonballs. The scatter shot has a wide spread and creates several small holes in enemy ships, although it doesn't do much damage overall.
- Bone Summoner - The bone summoner will generate skeletons loyal to you. When you throw it on an island or against a ship, a horde of skeletons will attack your enemies.
- Horn of the Fair Winds - Horn of the Righteous Winds is the name of the third and final tool, and is used to suffer strong gusts of air. This is a very versatile item that can be used to speed up a ship, knock players down, put out fires, cushion falls and more.
We'll also see the zip lines of Monkey Island arriving at Sea of ThievesIn addition to a steel cable fired from the harpoons to cross sites and board ships.
Flameheart returns in the thirteenth season of Sea of Thieves
The Burning Blade and its captain Flameheart will return in the thirteenth season of Sea of Thieves as a global event in the game.
This won't be a fixed event, as it will be sailing throughout the Sea of Thieves. When you defeat the Burning Blade, you and your friends will board the ship and follow the orders of the legendary Captain Flameheart.
Later this season we'll see new camps, hidden chambers, puzzles, secrets of the ancients and mysterious artifacts.
Stealth is the focus of the fourteenth season of Sea of Thieves
Coming only towards the end of 2024, the fourteenth season of Sea of Thieves will focus heavily on stealth.
We don't know many details yet, but the studio has indicated that we'll see things like hiding in chests, hanging from ships, darts of different shapes, tracking ships and objects, traps and more.
In a nutshell, Sea of Thieves is now available for PC, Xbox One e Xbox Series. The game will be available on April 30th for PlayStation 5.
