The youtube channel Konami unveiled the first official trailer for Silent Hill: Ascension, its new interactive series in partnership with Genvid Entertainment and Bad Robot Games.
In this new production, the Japanese company gives us a first look at a terrifying story of generational trauma, promising that viewers will "direct and permanent influence on the story and characters".
In the video, Konami previews the multiple characters and intertwined plots that players and viewers can expect at the launch of the series. According to Genvid, not even the creators of the project know what the ending will be, saying that the actions of millions of users will decide the fate of the characters.
"We're excited to tell a new interactive story, in locations that have never been explored before, alongside new characters who will be introduced to fans of the Silent Hill universe" said Motoi Okamoto, producer of the Silent Hill series at Konami, in a press release. "It's up to you to decide the fate of several main characters, which will unfold simultaneously around the world."
Silent Hill: Ascension will arrive in 2023 and will be available on multiple devices.
