Respawn Entertainment and EA have released Patch 7, the next major update for the acclaimed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, adding a number of performance improvements, bug fixes and optimizations across all platforms.

On PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, Patch 7 brings a series of improvements to Quality and Performance modes, including achieving a solid 60 FPS in Performance mode.

On the PC, Patch 7 introduces support for NVIDIA DLSS, a supersampling technology that can greatly improve performance for some users.

  • This patch introduces several performance-related improvements* on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, including:

    • The performance mode has been completely overhauled to substantially improve the player experience.

    • Various GPU and CPU optimizations - along with the deactivation of Ray Tracing - have resulted in a better player experience, including a solid 60 FPS in Performance mode.

  • Quality Mode has also received optimizations to help reduce FPS fluctuation and introduce other visual improvements.

  • Variable refresh rate support added to PS5

  • Additional performance improvements and PC optimization, including DLSS support.

  • Adjustments to the save system to help prevent corruption of saved games

  • Fixed issues where players were unable to recover their XP after dying in certain circumstances.

  • Various bug fixes

  • Various bug fixes and improvements on all platforms, including fabric fixes, lighting
