Another new Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on all platforms on May 9 and we have the full rundown of the latest patch notes.

Almost a fortnight after its release, the fourth major update is arriving. Seeking to resolve a wide range of controversial performance issues, eliminate a number of critical bugs and generally guarantee a smoother experience, the Respawn is deploying a new patch to PC, Xbox and PlayStation.

This latest patch comes a week after the previous update, which sought to correct the most pertinent hard-crash problems, along with serious performance issues on the console in particular.

It's worth noting, however, that not all platforms are aligned on the release time of this new update. For those on console, the update should be released on Tuesday, May 9, at an undisclosed time.

Meanwhile, those on PC will have to wait for more clarity on an exact release time sometime "this week", EA explained.

However, arguably the biggest focal point of the May 9 patch is performance on PC. Although it has yet to be fully tested, the update claims to improve the experience in this respect in several important ways.
