Today Private Division e Wētā Workshopknown for their work on the film trilogy The Lord of the Ringsrevealed Tales of the Shire: The Lord of the Rings Game, a cozy Hobbit life simulator set in the Middle-earth universe of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Players will be able to experience life as their own custom-built Hobbit in the idyllic town of Beirágua, where they can get involved in countless activities such as fishing, gardening, decorating their home and much more; with the ultimate goal of bringing the community together and achieving official village status by launching the biggest Festival the Shire has ever seen.
Developed by Wētā Workshop Game Studio, Tales of the Shire will be launched in the second half of 2024 at the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S e PC.
