TEKKEN 8 opens registrations for Closed Network Test

Tekken 8

Developer and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. announced today that TEKKEN™8, the next chapter in the legendary franchise, will have a Closed Network Test (CLT) on consoles and PC. Registration is open to interested parties, with sessions due to start on July 21, 2023. TEKKEN 8 is coming exclusively to PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam®.

Developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., TEKKEN 8 promises to be the most stunning and visceral title in the TEKKEN™ series to date. The game brings big new changes to combat, including a new "aggressive" fighting system that encourages an offensive style, keeping action levels high by rewarding those who focus on attack. Another new feature in the series is cross-play, raising the level of competition by allowing players to challenge each other regardless of their preferred platforms. With TRF, players will be able to try out "Ranked Matches" and play their part in helping to adjust the key mechanics and features of this sequel.
