Ubisoft Forward reveals ambitious content for The Crew Motorfest

Ubisoft has just announced, during its Ubisoft Forward conference broadcast worldwide on Monday (10), the first details of the content of the fifth season of The Crew Motorfest, the first of the game's Year 2. The update includes a new playground for gamers: the stunning volcanic island of Maui, and fans of high-speed chases were also able to get excited during the presentation with some of the premium PVE content to come, "The Chase Squad".

Throughout the first year of Hawaiian festivities, the game has offered players a wide variety of high-octane updates. With the last wave of Year 1 Season content arriving on July 3, players will still be able to enjoy the "Donk vs Lowrider" playlist and immerse themselves in the customization hype. From June 12, another novelty: car manufacturers Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Lancia will join The Crew Motorfest with 17 vehicles, including the Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale (1968), available as a reward for the Twitch Drop made during the conference.

When Season 5 launches in November 2024, all players will be able to explore the captivating island of Maui for free, adding more than 100 km² of pure fun on and off-road trails. Users will be able to explore new landscapes, experience the pulsating urban life of Kahului, travel through the majestic views of Haleakalā National Park with its enchanting bamboo groves and cross the legendary Sacred Pools of Ohe'o Gulch, which feature incredible waterfalls. Maui is an invitation to players and comes with the promise of endless discoveries and thrilling motorized adventures.

In this new setting, the Motorfest festival gets even busier thanks to a big extra dash of automotive excitement, which could be seen in "The Hound" trailer - whose soundtrack was composed by French darksynth artist Carpenter Brut. "The Chase Squad" is a premium PvE experience featuring a team of elite drivers whose main mission is to shake up the racing scene and take down their rivals. Players will be able to join the Squad and learn to master the art of the chase. On this journey, racers will engage in a high-octane pursuit to track down, outrun and outmaneuver their urban racing rivals in clashes across the islands, including nighttime chases that will challenge courage and put skills to the test.

Season 5 will also mark the return of the fan-favorite "Made in Japan" playlist with Volume 2, which offers more events, locations and neon races. Players will get new information about Year 2 of the game during the next The Crew Showcase, scheduled for September 2024, when news will also be announced about the PVE mode, the next seasons of Year 2 and much more.

The Crew Motorfest is available for PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One & X|S and PC, via Ubisoft Connect, Steam and the Epic Games Store. Its Ultimate Edition is also included in Ubisoft+ subscriptions via Ubisoft Connect and Xbox.
