A simple game that does its job

It's not every day that we have to sit down to play a big-budget AAA game. Sometimes, or rather most of the time, it's the smaller budget games that give players the most fun.

A lot of this is because it's not the suits behind the product, but developers who are passionate about what they're doing - of course there are such people in every company, but with superiors who dictate the direction of the projects.

TMNT: Splintered Fate surprised me a lot, keeping me hooked for many hours and showing me that the rogue-like genre lives on and will live on for a long time to come. After all, this game gives you an extremely satisfying cycle of repetition.

Currently available for Apple Arcade e Nintendo SwitchThe 4th quarter of this year will see TMNT: Splintered Fate also coming to PC.
