Today, during the Ubisoft Forward live conference, Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games revealed the first gameplay images of Star Wars Outlaws, the first open-world Star Wars game, which will be released in 2024 for Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Ubisoft Connect).

With development led by Massive Entertainment*, Star Wars Outlaws will invite players to explore the Star Wars Galaxy like never before, in an original story set between Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back™ and Star Wars: Return of the Jedi™. While the Galactic Empire tries to impose its final defeat on the Rebel Alliance, the criminal underworld thrives. Players will control the cunning Kay Vess, played by actress Humberly González, and will be accompanied by her loyal companion Nix, played by Dee Bradley Baker (Star Wars: The Bad Batch™).

In this adventure, while planning one of the biggest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen, they must find the means to start a new life, embarking on fights, robberies and escapes through crime syndicates, joining the list of the Galaxy's most wanted.

Kay Vess and Nix travel across the Galaxy to a variety of locations, from the most iconic to the newest, from the humid jungles of Akiva to the windswept savannah of Toshara. Kay will explore bustling cities and cantinas, race across vast outdoor landscapes in his speeder and pilot his Trailblazer ship through the jungles of space. When the situation gets out of hand, the Trailblazer will be the key to chasing, escaping and attacking enemies in thrilling aerial combats against the Empire and other enemies.

Players will be able to transform any situation by using stealth and technological devices to recover valuables without being detected, or by distracting enemies with well-timed maneuvers and even taking part in big fights in the most complicated moments of this journey. Kay and Nix will join forces with a cast of bad guys along the way, such as the ND-5 battle droid, played by Jay Rincon.

As they steal valuable goods, infiltrate secret locations and deceive their enemies, they need to make careful choices, as each decision will influence Kay's reputation.
