The youtube channel Ubisoft announced at the event The Crew Summer Showcase, various news related to the franchise The Crew. Which has more than 40 million players worldwide.

What to expect from The Crew Motorfest

The Motorfest will be in full swing throughout the year, thanks to a program that includes Playlists, Summit Competitions, guests and celebrations. As with any festival, the main stage is where the biggest attractions are and, as well as bringing together a selection of themed events and challenges, it will feature a roster of hand-picked vehicles and celebrity guests - such as professional drivers, car customizers and content creators. The first guest revealed is the notorious Hoonigan, who will enter Season 2 with his special vehicles.

Every four months, players will be able to enjoy a different season, with its own elements of automotive culture and new activities on the main stage.

What's new for The Crew 2 players

During the event The Crew Summer Showcase, the players of The Crew 2 were also able to learn more about the Collection Import feature, which will allow them to import their vehicle collections for free to The Crew Motorfest.

This feature will be compatible with most cars and accessories purchased or unlocked before the end of Season 8 of The Crew 2while the contents of Season 9 will be available for import at a later date. Importing the collection is completely optional.

Finally, The Crew 2, which celebrates its 5th anniversary today, had its plans for the 6th year proudly presented by the development team. Season 9, which arrives on July 5th, will introduce a long-awaited feature: The Race Creator.

This tool will give players the opportunity to create and share their own races with the community. Users will be able to apply their own rules, categories and modifiers (car models or makes, traffic, weather, times of day, etc.).

The first of the two episodes of Season 9 will feature new stories and events from American Legends.
