VISIONS OF MANA to be released in August

Square Enix has unveiled a vibrant trailer for the next main title in the Mana franchise,  Visions of Manaand announced that the game will be released on August 29, 2024 for PlayStation 5 (PS5), PlayStation 4 (PS4), Xbox Series X|S and PC. The new trailer for the long-awaited RPG reveals new playable characters and new features that players will encounter on their journey through the game. Pre-orders for Visions of Mana are now available on all platforms.

Visions of Mana is a new entry point to the main plot of the Mana franchise and follows the journey of Val, a newly appointed soul guard who is tasked with accompanying his childhood friend Hinna, a chosen "alm", to the "Tree of Mana". The new trailer introduces the new characters Palamena and Julei, whom Val and Hinna befriend on their journey as they explore the vast world to reach the Tree of Mana. In Visions of ManaIn the battle, players will be able to assemble their own dream team of up to three characters, alternating between the five playable characters, Val, Careena, Morley, Palamena, and Julei, with support teammates Ramcoh, Aesh and Hinna assisting the team.
 

The new trailer offers a closer look at some of the game's latest features, including the "Elemental Vessels", the mystical artifacts that house the power of the elements within them. Players will be able to use the Elemental Vessels to change class and gain new abilities during battles. With each character having their own specific class for each Elemental Vessel, players can customize their team formation to enjoy a flexible and fast-paced fighting style. Visions of Mana also brings the return of the series' "Ring Menu" to battle, allowing players to pause combat and plan their next move. Elemental Triggers can also be found throughout the world and used to unlock new places to explore and find hidden items on the map.
