Yesterday, Focus Entertainment and Sabre Interactive unveiled a new trailer to celebrate Summer Game Fest and the upcoming release of the highly anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. This new video shows never-before-seen gameplay and teases the upcoming gameplay overview trailer, a deep dive into the game's mechanics, which will be released on Focus' YouTube channel on June 20. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will be released on September 9, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Steam and the Epic Games Store, with digital and retail pre-orders already open.
Incorporate the superhuman skills and brutality of a space marine
Fight as one of the Emperor's greatest warriors and defend the Empire against the horrors of the galaxy. Return through the eternal night in epic battles on distant planets with your deadly skills and devastating weaponry. Powered by Sabre Interactive's proprietary Swarm Engine, Space Marine 2 will plunge players into the depths of the universe's most spectacular battles, pitting them against the relentless Tyranid swarms!
In addition to its narrative campaign, which players can enjoy alone or in cooperative mode for up to 3 players, Space Marine 2 will be released with a PvE mode for 3 players and a 6v6 PvP mode, as recently confirmed in the Multiplayer. Modes reveal trailer. These repeatable modes also feature a customization system, allowing players to equip their Space Marines from the helm to the grilles, thanks to a wide choice of colors, heraldic decals, spreaders, gauntlets and much more. The Season Pass will offer even more optional cosmetics, while new content such as missions, enemies and weapons will be available to all players through regular free updates.
