Layoffs at PlayStation

On Tuesday (27) we heard the sad news that the Sony is laying off 900 employees from its PlayStation.

London Studios closed!

These layoffs include the closure of London Studioand reducing the Firesprite, Naughty Dog, Guerilla, Insomniac and more.

Twisted Metal canceled

To make the news even more chaotic and sad, the revival of Twisted Metal, which was classified as a service game, was also canceled by PlayStation.

A long time without a new

Twisted Metal hasn't seen a game released since the reboot of the franchise in 2012. In more recent media, the game had a TV adaptation made for the streaming service Peacock.
