From July 29, 2024, the Xbox 360 store will no longer allow the purchase of new games, DLCs and other types of content. In addition, it will no longer be possible to use Microsoft's Movies and TV app on the console.
The matter was published by Xbox Wire itself, which announced first-hand the closure of the Xbox 360 Store and the Xbox 360 Marketplace (marketplace.xbox.com) in August 2023.

Will I be able to play the games I bought even after the Xbox 360 store closes?
Yes, players don't have to worry about previously purchased and downloaded games! Even if the store is deactivated, all the games will be available for use.
In other words: you won't have to rush to download all the games in your library before July 29th, after all, they will still be available for download even after the store officially closes.
What content will no longer be available for purchase?

- DLCs
- Avatar items
- Applications
- Player images
- Shopping at stake
- Video content via the Microsoft Movies and TV app

- Making gamertag changes on Xbox 360
