Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which arrives this Friday (12) exclusively at Nintendo Switchis the long-awaited sequel to Breath of the Wild.

Living up to the first game, Tears of the Kingdom invests in exploring the range of new things you can do. One of the most important things to learn is how to cook.

Cooking will not only give you cooked food, but also the option to put different effects on each item. Or something unwanted...

How to cook in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom

First of all, you'll need a cauldron. It can be found in lost places on the map, or in villages, stables and more. In the image you can see below, we found it in the middle of the forest, right at the start of the game.

For cooking in Zelda: Tears of the KingdomIn order to hold the item, you need to press "+" on your Joycon or Pro Controller, select the item you want in your inventory and click Hold. After clicking "Hold", click B to return to the game, then click A to place the items in the cauldron.

You can hold up to five different items in your hands at the same time. You can combine different types of food, use more quantities of it, or even use some resources, such as monster items.

Each one will give you different effects or an unwanted recipe. We're not going to give you any recipes here, so use your creativity and find out what you can cook.
